Welcome to the School of Basic Midwifery, Agwu, Enugu State. The school and the hospital are known for their’ legendary feat as the institution to train the first midwife in Nigeria. The School train students that will become qualified midwives according to the standard stipulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) which is the regulatory body for all nursing and midwifery schools in Nigeria.
